A plenary session of the forum with the participation of the heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member states was held in Almaty on 3 February. The main topic of discussion was the development of sustainable digital infrastructure and new technologies in telecommunications.
During the first 11 months of 2022 in Kazakhstan the total mortality rate decreased by 30% (29.7%) compared to the same period of the previous year. One can also note the reduction of mortality from circulatory system diseases by almost 34% (33.7%), cancer by 8% (8.3%), mortality from respiratory diseases by 1.7 times, and mortality from tuberculosis decreased by 12.5%. These data were reported by Health Minister Azhar Giniyat at the Ministry of Healthcare's Board meeting held today, January 10.

The creation of new production facilities, e.g. a plant or a factory, is a labour-intensive and time-consuming process that not every entrepreneur is prepared to undertake. This is the reason why the Government has provided support measures for business initiatives, in particular, within the framework of the National Project on Entrepreneurship Development for 2021-2025, which was developed on the instruction of the President of Kazakhstan.

The Minister of Agriculture, Yerbol Karashukeyev, conducted working visits to the Zhetysu and Karaganda regions in October this year. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture got acquainted with the activities of local agricultural enterprises and met with farmers.
