Mukhtar Tileuberdi

 

Mukhtar Tileuberdi was born June 30, 1968, in the village of Aksu, Chimkent region. He graduated from Kirov Kazakh State University (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University) majoring in philosophy. 

After graduating from the university, he started working at the departments of History of Philosophy and Chinese Philology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University. 

In 1993-1996, he was an attache, third secretary of the Asia Office;

In 1996-1999, he was the third, second secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Korea;

In 1999-2000, he was first secretary of the Department of Asia, the Middle East and Africa, head of Division of the Department of Bilateral Cooperation;

In 2000-2001, he was advisor to the Secretary of State for International Affairs in the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2001-2003, he was advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the State of Israel;

From August 2004 to July 2009, he served as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Malaysia;

From March 2005 to July 2009, he was Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of the Philippines concurrently;

From July 2009 to March 2016, he was Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Switzerland, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Principality of Liechtenstein, Vatican City concurrently;

In 2015, he was accredited as the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sovereign Military Order of the Hospitallers of St. John of Jerusalem, Rhodes and Malta concurrently.

In 2016-2019, he was frst vice minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2019-2021, he was minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On Jan. 18, 2021, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs.
