Yerbol Karashukeyev was born on November 26, 1976, in the Almaty region.
He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University, Modern Humanitarian Institute.
He has holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management, a Master's degree in Economics, Bachelor's degree in Law.
He began his career in 1998 as a chief specialist of the Department of Analysis and Market Surveys of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Statistics, in 1999 - 2001, he was a consultant of the Department of Socio-Economic Analysis of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2001 to 2003, he worked in executive positions in commercial organizations.
In 2003 - 2006, he was Director of the Financial Department - Member of the Board of JSC State Insurance Corporation for Insurance of Export Credits and Investments.
From 2006 to 2007, he was Director of the Consolidated Analytical Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From January to July 2007, he was Managing Director of KazAgro National Management Holding JSC.
From 2007 to 2009, he was Chair of the Management Board of JSC Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture.
In 2010 - 2012, he was director of the RSE Center for the Study of Financial Violations of the Accounts Committee for Control over the Execution of the Republican Budget.
From 2012 to 2013, he was General Director of the KBTU Institute of Oil and Gas Engineering and Information Technologies LLP.
2013 - 2016, he was Deputy Chair of the Management Board of Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC.
From 2016 to 2019, he was Deputy Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Monitoring of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From January to April 2019, he was Chair of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From April 2019 to March 2021, he was Chair of the Management Board of KazAgro Holding JSC.
From April to July 2021, he was Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since July 2021, he has been Vice Minister - Acting Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
